Seattle Design Center is the nucleus of the Pacific Northwest design community and the place for inspiration and thought leadership for Pacific Northwest designers and the clients they serve.
Seattle Design Center is a source of inspiration and provides a one-stop shop for furniture, textiles, rugs, lighting, art, photography and more. Several showrooms feature local products as well as some of the finest design in the world, overseen by showroom owners and managers that are experts in their craft. Each showroom owner will tell you the story behind the goods they carry and the designers they represent, providing a rich background to accompany your purchase for yourself or your clients. Whether you are browsing to cultivate new ideas for your next home improvement project, or shopping with your designer for the newest trends, Seattle Design Center has it all.
Yes. Seattle Design Center is open to the public and would love for you to explore the showrooms that feature more than 2,000 designers from around the world. You are more than welcome to browse throughout Seattle Design Center to gather inspiration. However, we recommend hiring a licensed interior designer to lead you through your design project. Any of the showrooms can provide recommendations of some of the best interior designers in the Pacific Northwest to meet your needs. Also, sample sales are held throughout the year, providing an opportunity to shop SDC without a licensed designer.
We require everyone to purchase through a designer to ultimately help you refine your design decisions. Trying to order custom, made-to-order pieces is a difficult process for anyone who isn’t familiar with shopping through a showroom.
Children are allowed in the showrooms with careful supervision. We suggest that you leave your strollers at the entrance.
