Mary Cox is a Seattle-based interior designer passionate about color and design. Incorporating her resourceful decorating style with her incredible eye for color, she has been highly successful in creating imaginative environments for over 25 years.

Mary firmly believes that good design is all about emotions. How does a space make you feel when it’s completed? And she puts great effort into discovering how the client wants to feel when the space is completed. With her passion for creativity, her journey has taken her down many roads in designing homes around the country.

Her broad background encompasses designing numerous residential remodels and other commercial applications, including remodels of two YMCAs’, the décor of Italianissmo Restaurant, a dental office, a physical therapy center and just recently, the remodel of 22 offices in a Kirkland Law office. She has authored and published articles on design and especially the effects of color.

Almost 28 years later, a Little Accent has remodeled over 40 residential housing community projects throughout Washington and Oregon and won numerous awards.

Her other lifelong passion has been horses. She has ridden and competed in Hunter-Jumper competitions since she was a child and, in the past years, has turned her interest to Dressage.
