The Intersection of Intentional Design: Neuroaesthetic, Biophilia, and Sustainability

Thomas Verellen and Brandon Snyder in conversation around the impact these topics have on our mental and physical health.  Known for their craftsmanship and commitment to mindful design, Verellen will explore how both environments and products designed with intention can influence overall well-being while challenging attendees to rethink how spaces are used and created in our ever changing and fast paced industry.

Thomas Verellen serves as Director of Sales at Verellen and part of the second generation involved in the family business, carrying forward a legacy rooted in the rich design and manufacturing traditions of the Southeast. With a genuine passion for biophilic design and a deep appreciation for nature, Thomas is especially drawn to the ways natural elements can enhance living spaces—bringing warmth, balance, and a sense of calm into the home. This perspective influences both his personal style and professional approach, as he works closely with clients to create interiors that feel grounded, inviting, and timeless. Outside of work, you’ll often find Thomas enjoying the outdoors with friends and family, drawing inspiration from the natural world to fuel both his personal life and professional vision.
