2023 NW DESIGN AWARD WINNERS
The Tree House
J.Garner Home | Pindler | Kravet | DFG
This project feels deserving of this award because growing and nurturing a design business takes time! We’ve been blessed with great client and solid design projects but this one really represents the White Label aesthetic: a naturally bold home in a mountain setting, where you want to hike all day and come home to this humble but luxe place to live. The project was fun, the Clients exceptional, and the Building team phenomenal. We’re so proud and think this project is worth sharing with the world!

Our clients requested a serene and peaceful room that they could relax and enjoy visiting with friends in. We reworked the circulation space and added in two windows, raised the ceiling and redesigned the fireplace and darkened up the wood floor stain to create contrast with the lighter furnishings and walls. The color palette was built around the charcoal floral fabric.
I feel this room is deserving of the influential space award because its represents a classic, timeless room that a wide range of people can connect to. It was also completely sourced from the Seattle Design Center.

A four year project delayed further due to the pandemic and the end result was worth the wait. A beautiful new construction collaboration with Conard Romano Architects and Bellan Construction where every detail was thought out to create the perfect space for a Seattle couple and their 3 daughters. It was important to all parties that the architecture fit into this classic Capitol Hill neighborhood seamlessly while offering the all the contemporary comforts clients have come to expect. The interior furnishings marry the styles of both clients to blend perfectly with the interior architecture. Hyde Evans Design worked tirelessly on every detail to make sure the quality of the furnishings matched the quality of construction. We’d like to think we are deserving of this award because of the classic and authentic styling of this home that makes you think it has always been here.
