ICAA Retrospective Event

Join us for an inspiring evening as the ICAA Northwest hosts an exclusive conversation with one of the design world’s most iconic figures, Marian McEvoy. Known for her illustrious career in fashion and interiors, McEvoy began as a fashion editor at Women’s Wear Daily and W in Paris, where she immersed herself in the vibrant Parisian fashion scene for two decades. Upon returning to the U.S., she went on to serve as Editor-in-Chief of Elle Décor and House Beautiful, shaping the way we view interiors.

Now, in the second phase of her career, McEvoy has emerged as a decorative artisan and textile designer, with two beautiful fabric collections under her belt—one with Schumacher and another with Kerry Joyce. In this intimate one-on-one Q&A session, we’ll explore her experiences in Paris, her insights into the transformation of the interior publishing world, her tips on gracious entertaining and design, and the process behind creating a textile or product collection.

Event Details:

  • Date: November 8th, 2024
  • Time: 2:30PM – 4:00PM
  • Location: Gray Sky Gallery, Seattle Design Center
