Known for her illustrious career in fashion and interiors, McEvoy began as a fashion editor at Women’s Wear Daily and W in Paris, where she immersed herself in the vibrant Parisian fashion scene for two decades. Upon returning to the U.S., she went on to serve as Editor-in-Chief of Elle Décor and House Beautiful, shaping the way we view interiors.
Now, in the second phase of her career, McEvoy has emerged as a decorative artisan and textile designer, with two beautiful fabric collections under her belt—one with Schumacher and another with Kerry Joyce. In this intimate one-on-one Q&A session, we’ll explore her experiences in Paris, her insights into the transformation of the interior publishing world, her tips on gracious entertaining and design, and the process behind creating a textile or product collection.
